IMMERSED.

An ongoing photo+text project.
---

I, along with many of my peers, have mostly been staring at screens while doing my work for the last decade. Personally, I've grown disillusioned doing so.

After all, how you spend most of your days is how you'll spend the rest of your life. And I don't want to spend the rest of my working life within the 15" confinements of my Macbook Pro.

But some of my peers have taken a very different approach to their work by choosing to immerse themselves in a particular - often tangible - craft, whether that's woodworking, baking artisanal bread, coffee roasting or becoming a chef.

What have their experiences been like? Has it been worth it? Does it lead to a more content, meaningful life? Or is the way you approach your work more important than the dynamics and content of your occupation?

Join me as we'll be exploring all these questions over the course of this project.
